This page tracks every mainboard IPO on NSE from the day it is announced to the day it lists: the price band and lot, how many times each investor category has bid for its quota, and when the shares are due to list.
Subscription figures are the consolidated numbers across NSE and BSE - the ones the press quotes - taken from the exchange's own bid data and refreshed through the bidding days. The table of recent listings shows how IPOs actually opened on their first day of trading.
Reading the subscription numbers
Each category's figure is the shares bid for divided by the shares reserved for that category. QIBs are qualified institutional buyers - mutual funds, foreign investors, insurers and banks. NIIs are non-institutional investors bidding more than Rs 2 lakh, split into small (Rs 2-10 lakh) and big (above Rs 10 lakh) bidders. Retail is individuals bidding up to Rs 2 lakh.
Institutional demand usually arrives on the last day, so an IPO that looks quiet on day one can end heavily oversubscribed. Anchor investors, who buy the day before the issue opens, are not counted in these figures.
From closing to listing
Under SEBI's T+3 timeline, allotment is finalised the working day after the issue closes, shares reach demat accounts the day after, and trading starts on the third working day after closing. The expected listing date on this page counts working days on NSE's holiday calendar; the company's own timetable in its prospectus is authoritative.
On listing day the shares open after a special pre-open call auction that discovers the opening price. The listing gain in the table of recent listings compares that opening price, and the day's close, with the final issue price.
What subscription has meant for listings
Heavily subscribed IPOs have tended to open well above their issue price, and thinly subscribed ones near or below it. The IPO GMP page sets out how every mainboard IPO since 2016 opened, grouped by how heavily it was subscribed - an official-data alternative to grey-market quotes.

Frequently asked questions
Which IPOs are open today?
The table at the top lists every mainboard IPO that is open for bidding, closed and awaiting listing, or opening soon, with its dates, price band and current subscription.
What does 'subscribed 50 times' mean?
Investors bid for fifty times as many shares as were on offer. Each category - QIB, NII, retail - is measured against its own reserved quota, so one category can be heavily oversubscribed while another is not.
Are these NSE or BSE subscription figures?
Both combined. The exchanges each publish bids placed on their own platform; the figures here are the consolidated totals across NSE and BSE, which is the number usually reported.
When will an IPO list?
Normally on the third working day after the issue closes, under SEBI's T+3 timeline. The expected date shown counts working days on NSE's holiday calendar; check the company's prospectus for the official schedule.
Does this page show the grey market premium (GMP)?
No. GMP quotes come from unofficial dealer trading that cannot be verified. The IPO GMP page explains why, and shows instead how past IPOs with similar subscription actually listed.
Are SME IPOs included?
Not yet. The page covers mainboard IPOs on NSE.
